He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Smith (Lovallo); his children, Jennifer Smith (Michael Gideon) and Gregory Smith (Erin); and his sibling Alyson Spath.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jimmy's memory can be made to the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association or Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
