James D. Newman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 93, James D. Newman of Hawthorne, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ann T. Newman; and his siblings, Jeanette, Edward and Margaret Newman. He is survived by: his children, Maureen Kelaher (Frank) of Ramsey, Eileen Thomas of Ramsey and James J. Newman of Ramsey; and his grandchildren, Evan, Victoria Thomas, Caitin Kelaher and Caden Newman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C Church (276 Diamond Bridge Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne.
