Bender of Hawthorne, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lisa Bender of Santa Fe, NM, Joseph V. Bender of Sugar Loaf, NY, Lauren Bender of Ridgewood, NJ and Christian Bender of Pequannock; his grandchildren, Georgia, Joey Bender, Gianna, Carley, Isabella Cumba and Rae Ann Bender; his sister Marie Somers; and his siblings-in-law, Marco Lozzi Nead, Edward Lozzi, Robyn Lozzi, Marie Bender Somers and James Somers.
