She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leonard Brandt; her son Leonard Joseph Brandt (Colleen) of North Caldwell, NJ.; her grandchildren, Cristin Knox (Kevin) of Glen Ridge, NJ and Eric Brandt of Austin, TX.; her great grandchildren, Jameson and Molly; her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Van Dalinda of Allendale, NJ; and her nephews, Tom, Doug and Jimmy.

“Rita was one of the sweetest she always would make sure I was ok.🥰even though I was her caregiver.The pandemic was a bit rough but I would tell her it wil not last forever.. you will be able to hug your loved ones again.She always shared stories about her family.and how good they are to her.I know that shes at peace but I will mis her dearly.❤️😇🙏🦋”
