He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Maher and Gerry Maher. He is survived by: his wife Janice Maher; his sons, Christopher S. Maher (Debra) of Island Heights and David J. Maher (Michele) of Denville; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Megan, Christopher Jr., Connor, Jennifer and Kaitlyn; his great grandchild Ronan; and his sister Geraldine Fenlon. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
