He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cook and Agnes Cook; and his siblings, John Cook and Anna Jean Leegwater (late Arie). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Cook; his children, Glenn Cook (Maureen) of Hawthorne, Lauren Golden (Gregory) of North Haledon and Bill Cook (Tara) of North Haledon; his grandchildren, William Golden, Kristin Golden, Matt Cook, Elisabeth Golden, Michael Cook, Billy Cook and Danny Cook; his sisters, Jane De Jong (Bill) and Trudy Talis; and his brother-in-law Frank Muus (Irene).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery (22-21 Maple Ave, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Eastern Christian Schools, or to New Hope Community Ministries in Prospect Park.
