It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William W. Corson of Hawthorne, New Jersey, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William W. Corson to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Gavasci of Bloomfield, Debbie Portnoy (Marc) of Charlotte, NC, Karen Johnsen (Ed) of Charlotte, NC and Jennifer Shih (David) of Ridgewood; and his grandchildren, Danielle, Justin, Anthony, Aidan, Matthew and Dylan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Matthew the Apostle Church (81 Seymour Ave, Edison, NJ 08817).
