He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Sr. Smith and Margaret M. Smith (Rhines); his daughter Baby Angel; and his brother Robert C. Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Smith (Kozicki); his daughters, Mary Bryk (Richard) of Wall, Susan Smith of East Brunswick, Nancy Zalewski of Old Bridge and Janet Willis of Apex; his grandchildren, Christine Bryk, Richard Bryk Jr., Michael Bryk, David Kitzman (Melissa), Ryan Zalewski, Jake Zalewski, Asher Willis and Connor Willis; and his great grandchildren, Madison, DJ and Maisie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730).
