It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Maiers of Hazlet, New Jersey, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chmielecki and Catherine Chmielecki; her husband Art; her son Arthur; and her sister Catherine Cardillo.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Maiers (Sheila) of North Carolina and Ken Maiers (Christine) of Hazlet, NJ.; her grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie), Kristin (Mark), Stacie, Arthur J., Kenny, Lauren and Danny; her great grandchildren, Madison and Ruth; and her sister Ruthie Harris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
