He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Dougherty (Garvin); his children, Donna Dougherty (Chris Shaver), John Dougherty (Amanda Stokes), Kylie Hart (Justin) and Logan Dougherty; his grandson Levi John Hart; and his sisters, Debra Cassens (Butch) and Donna Bach.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730).
