It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail Ann Van Hook of Hewitt, New Jersey, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Goldsberry and Merle Goldsberry; her brother Chuck Goldsberry; her father-in-law Charles Van Hook; and her sister-in-law Maureen Van Hook.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph P. Van Hook; her children, Joseph M. Van Hook of Hewitt, NJ and Kristin Shaw (Brian Shaw) of Sussex, NJ; her grandchildren, Wayde and Benjamin; her child Kaylan Van Hook of West Milford; her brothers, Walter Goldsberry of Oakland and Denis Goldsberry of Pino, CO; and her mother-in-law Kathy Van Hook of Rochester, VT. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks for donations to the West Milford Historical Society.
