White; her significant other Sydne Mahone; her sons, Oge and David; her daughters-in-law, Monique and Dr. Heather Platt; her grandchildren, Ishmael, Ishana, Isabella, Josephine and Lucas; her sister Lee Hooper; her niece Holly Hooper; her cousins, Mary "Bootsie" Andrade, Tony, Diane, Randy, Jr. and Sean Peyton; and her friends, Rosalyn "Rusty" Baylor and Alice Roper Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Lynda Gravátt Legacy Fund at Howard University which will be established in the near future.
