“I have known Tom as both deacon and exterminator. Over the years, he has saved me from ants, carpenter bees, yellow jackets, mice and myself. Whenever my faith was wavering I would recall one of his sermons and be reminded of a loving God who welcomes, forgives and redeems. Deacon Tom's vision of God was joyous and contagious and it was obvious he was one of God's chosen emissaries. Honest, devout and light-hearted, he lived, loved, and led by example. “I have so many fond memories of the Garveys celebrating Thanksgiving at our house when we were kids. And spending time at Graf and Grandad's house; the uncles and Grandaddy "working" in the tool shed. This work always included a drink from a bottle. Celebrating Uncle Tom and missing the Garvey family. Wishing you peace and comfort in the memories made. I am so grateful I was able to spend a little time with you all In April.
