It is with sadness that the passing of Lawrence Jones of Hightstown, New Jersey is shared. Lawrence, born on April 15, 1941, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lawrence will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Lawrence by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Lawrence is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Lawrence’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Jones and Marguerite Jones; and his brother Bernard Jones. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathleen Jones (Hartnett); his daughter Linda Jones; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Smith (Max) and Pamela Baur (J. J.); and his nephew Bernard Jones Jr.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home (202 Stockton St, Hightstown, NJ 08520). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Whitey's name may be made to the Eightstown Engine Company #1.
