He was predeceased by: his parents, John Span and Mary Span (Terek); his wife Kathleen Span (Aniskiewicz); and his brothers, Timothy, Thomas and Terrence.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph J. Span and Lisa M. Span; and his sister Janice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel (136 Morrison Ave, Hightstown, NJ 08520). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 2:30 PM.
