He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Karl and Ester Karl; and his brother-in-law Norbert Miksch. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Day; his siblings, Keith Karl (Sharon) and Lynne Miksch; his brother-in-law Donald Day (Linda); his nieces and nephews, Joel Miksch (Tina), Julie Voss (Miksch), Jill Herkowski (Miksch), Deborah Biedenbender (Steve), Lynn Ritonia (Pete), Sherri Scofield (Jamie), Terri Knauer (Peter), Jessica Hunley (Mark) (Day) and Sara Mark (Jim); his goddaughter Hannah Wurgaft (Alex Beach); and his caregiver Curt.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Curt's memory to the Hillsborough Reformed Church in Millstone where he was an active member for many years.
