He was predeceased by: his son Dr. Sandeep Singh Puar. He is survived by: his wife Surinder; his daughters, Jasbir Kaur Puar (Jordi) and Kimpreet Kaur Puar; and his grandson Kirpal Singh Puar. He is also survived by his four brothers.
