He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Szabo; his sister Janette Goyne; his sister-in-law Priscilla Szabo; and his parents, Joseph Szabo and Stella Szabo.
He is survived by: his children, Odette Szabo and Jeffrey Szabo (Jaclyn); his brother Zigmund Szabo; his grandchildren, Heather, Paige, Owen, Cayson and Charleigh; and his great grandchildren, Isabella and Aaliyah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home (1310 Brooks Blvd, Manville, NJ 08835). A Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (98 S 2nd Ave, Manville, NJ 08835).
