He is survived by: his brother Anthony; his children, Christopher, Paula, Tim and Lisa Banta; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Banta, Christopher Banta and Carolyn Sayre; his great grandchildren, Ben Banta, Alyson Sayre, Joshua Sayre and Kyle Banta; his stepchildren, Michael Vode, Anne Vode and Mary DuPont-Madinier; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Ahrens, Mike Dupont-Madinier, Gabby Brundige and Kim Dupont-Madinier; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Griffin Ahrens, Evie DuPont-Madinier, Celine Brundige, Orson Brundige, Cal Brundige and Roman DuPont-Madinier; his close friend Alyson; and also Bret. He is also survived by great-grandfather whom all the children.
