He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Rhode McCann and Peter William McCann; and his brothers, James and Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Carol Maurer McCann; his children, Brian (Rosy) and Diane; his grandchildren, Charles (Kelsey), Brandon (Mariel), Kristina and Anthony; and his great grandchildren, Nora and Emmy.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter's memory to Villa Marie Claire, the hospice home where Peter and his family experienced extraordinary compassion, dignity, and care during his final days.
