He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Jean and Isméla Ovilma. He is survived by: his wife Dieudira Jean; his children, Albertson Jean, Hawkins Jean, Jehu Jean, Huguette Jean-Ndongo, Wendy Martinez and Mynerva Warren; and his grandchildren, Johvon Jean, Jayden Jean, Ethan Jean, Méla Jean, Skylar Martinez and DevynMarie Martinez.
