He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Judith Doumato; and his grandparents, Pat, Terry Verdi, Martin and Mary Higgins.
He is survived by: his parents, Adele Higgins and Martin Higgins of Ridgewood, NJ; his wife Lorraine (Lori); his children, Ashley Nicole and Michael, Jr.; his father-in-law Jacob Doumato of Ho-Ho; his siblings, Dr. Patrick Higgins (Stephany) of Ridgewood, Martin Higgins III of Nutley and Kimberly DeJianne (Michael) of Nutley; his brother-in-law James Doumato (Diana) of Allendale; his siblings' children, Lisa Marie Higgins, Jenna Higgins, Mia Higgins, Makenna DeJianne, Juliana Doumato, Frank Higgins (Ashley), Martin Higgins IV, Patrick Higgins Jr., Michael James DeJianne, Carter Higgins and Nicholas Doumato; and his great-nephew Raymond Lesoine-Higgins. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel RC Church (88 E Saddle River Rd, Saddle River, NJ 07458). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
