He was predeceased by : his daughter-in-law Paulette; and his siblings, Emma, Josie, Maggie and Freddy.

He is survived by : his spouse Claire; his children, Calvin (Xiomara), Russell (Isabel) and Richie; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Steven), Larry (Jessica), Katie (Stephen), Michael (Tinamarie), Giaco (Blair), Emma, Russell Jr. and Lizzie; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Annabel, Chelsea and Kyle; and his brother Tony (Carmela). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
