Chin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Chin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Chin will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father Ching-Chuan Lee; and her husband Dr. Gin-Weigh Wu. She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Wu of Washington, DC and Christina Wu Miller (Brian Miller) of Hoboken; and her granddaughter Virginia.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, Chin Yun's family asks with gratitude that donations in her memory be made to the Taiwan Joyful Fortune Association (台灣喜福會), her favorite charity in Taiwan. Donations can be made via GoFundMe (https://gofund.me.) and the family will contribute the donation in her honor upon bringing Chin Yun back home to her final resting place.
