He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Domingo Canini and Rosalina Canini Lopez; and his brothers, Jorge Canini and Pedro Canini. He is survived by: his close friend Elly Escobar; his daughter Rose Canini-Savkov (Zivojin "Stu" Savkov); his granddaughter Brittany Rosario-Canini; his son Jose Canini (Yvonne Canini); his grandchildren, Zion Canini, Bethany Canini, Joshua Canini-Zytko and Christian Mosquera; his sons, Reynaldo Canini, Rafael Canini (Ana Canini) and Julio Angel Canini (Meghan Donahue-Canini); his grandchildren, Julio Canini Jr. and Jaxsen Canini; and his sisters, Carmen Zayas, Margarita Canini, Rosa Berrios and Migdalia Canini. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, a stepdaughter, step-sons, and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawton Turso Funeral Home (633 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ 07030).
