He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Cecchi of Genoa and Larchmont of New York. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Cecchi; his children, Olivia and Luciano; and his siblings, Paola Cecchi of Turin, Chiara Pernigotti of Rome, Luca Cecchi and Pietro Cecchi of Stonington Ct. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Always ready for the next adventure, Marco ventured ahead with generosity and open heart. Productive and creative, Marco shared his visions and made our world better. Attentive, Marco always made us feel at easy. Loving, Marco showed up on point. At three, 57 years ago, I met the new kid(s) in neighborhood. Marco was wearing shorts, and did not yet speak English. Though we not yet able to communicate by speaking we quickly found common ground by playing together. That was Marco. He instinctively knew where and how to see people, and was Ready. Ready to play. Ready to work. Ready to do what's needed in a loving way. Donald and Sandra”
