She was predeceased by: her husband Fire Captain Dennis Knapp; her parents, Grace Casler (McCurdy) and Raymond Casler; and her sister Jeanne Ann Casler. She is survived by: her children, Detective Sergeant Michael Miranda (Sheila) and Tracy DeTrizio (Miranda); her stepson Fireman Ryan Knapp (Kristen); her grandchildren, Nicholas Agustin, Mason Antonio Miranda, Michael Gavin, Greyson Alexander Detrizio, Kayla and Brayden Knapp; her great grandchildren, Logan, Alice Goldfarb, Ryan and Madison Brescher; and her friends, Liz Falco, Fran Lucatorto and Mentor Neima Grandela. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Francis Church toward a statue of Saint Carlo Acutis, in Mary's memory.
