We bid farewell to Mauro Mele of Hoboken, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Mauro touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Mauro may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mauro touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Mele and Isabella Mele (Scardigno); and his wife Caterina Mele. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Angela DeGennaro; and his great-nieces, Julia, Gianna, Isabella and Christina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730). An entombment was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holmdel Cemetery.
