She was predeceased by: her husband Miguel A. Negron; her son-in-law BenjaminVega, Sr.; her siblings, Mildred and Pepito; and her parents, Adela Negron and Juan Quinones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tony, Angel Luis, Miguelito (Raquel) and Linda; her children, Ivette Smulders (Al Arezzo) and Edith Vega; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Gianna), Vanessa and Ashley (Adalberto); and her great grandchild Katya.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Nelida's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
