He is survived by: his sisters, Nora Uresche, Orida Ocasio and Oria Viruet; his brother-in-law Frank Viruet; his nieces, Jennifer Ocasio and Deanna Calvacca; his nephew Daniel Calvacca; his grandson Dallas Rodriguez; and his close friend Annie Wallington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial (533 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ 07030).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joe's name to any charity that supports youth sports.
