With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadette Merken of Holmdel, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bernadette shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bernadette farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Gabrielle and Anastasia; and her parents, John (Barbara Long) and N. J..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Holmdel Cemetery.
