Carmen Michael Barbato Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmen Michael Barbato (Holmdel, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Barbato and Elvira Barbato (Tucci); his cousin Peter Tucci; his brother-in-law Paul Pieslewicz; his nephew Adam Pieslewicz; and his close friend Otis Redding.

He is survived by: his wife Christina Barbato (Pieslewicz); his children, Michael and Lauren Barbato; his sister Evelyn Kersting (Raymond); his sister-in-law Catherine Pieslewicz (Babcock); and his nieces and nephews, Mary Kate Kersting, Laura Pieslewicz, David Pieslewicz and Lee Ann Hernandez.
