It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Edward Johnson III of Holmdel, New Jersey, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Jr. and Catherine Johnson; his sister Elizabeth; and his pets, Mocha and Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Charles Johnson IV (Katherine) and Daniel Johnson (Paulina); and his grandchildren, Ayla, Brigid, Penelope and Reilly Jett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Church of St. Catharine (108 Middletown Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cemetery Holmdel Mausoleum (900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733).
