It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J Mitchell of Holmdel, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mitchell and Gertude Pelham Mithchell; and his brother Paul Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Joan McCarthy Mitchell; his children, Robert Mitchell of Holmdel, John Mitchell of Holmdel and Tara Mitchell of Holmdel; his brother Peter Mitchell (Frances Mitchell) of Staten Island; and his sister-in-law Linda Mitchell of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict's RC Church (165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Gabriel´s Cemetery.
