It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J Mitchell of Holmdel, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mitchell and Gertude Pelham Mitchell; and his brother Paul Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Joan McCarthy Mitchell; his children, Robert Mitchell of Holmdel, John Mitchell of Holmdel and Tara Mitchell of Holmdel; his brother Peter Mitchell (Frances Mitchell) of Staten Island; and his sister-in-law Linda Mitchell of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
