She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bender and Ruth Bender (Brown); and her brothers, John R Bender Jr. (Cookie) and Jerry Bender (Francine). She is survived by: her son Walter Michael Unick Jr. (Mike); her grandson Vladys Unick; her sister Janet Jacoby; her uncle Leo; her brothers, James Bender (Christine Weber) and Jeff Bender; her sister-in-law Sue Neiding; her siblings' children, Jay, Jen, Cullen, Dana, Justin, Brandon, Jacqueline, Michelle, Jimmy, Joyana, Tobias, Caitlyn and Patrick; her sister-in-law Arlene; her siblings' children, Shannon, Lilly and Blake; her significant other Daniel Wiegand; Dee.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude RC Church (40 Maxim Dr, Hopatcong, NJ 07843). A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Locust Hill Cemetery (168 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801).
