Lawrence Petrie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Petrie of Hopatcong, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lawrence has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Petrie and Gertrude Petrie (Reardon); and his sisters, Lorraine Luzzi (Bob), Sandra Krug (Tom) and Barbara Philips (Paul).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his brother Bill Petrie (Jean); his friend Barbara Moore; and his niece Erin Malbuisson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
