He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I remember Mike way back in our days at WHRHS. He and I had fun conversations as we waited in line for our turn at some exercise on the football field. Mike always had a smile on his face and something silly to say to break the tedium of another hot day in practice. His good nature helped us all endure practice. I see from following him on Facebook that those attributes lived on in Mile's life and were appreciated by his family and many friends. That's quite a statement about who he was. RIP”
