He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Scarpa (Canale) and Ralph Scarpa; and his brothers, Ralph and John. He is survived by: his wife Helen Scarpa; his children, Anthony (Sandra), Shawn (Malia) and Margaret; his grandchildren, Larissa, Alex and Emma; and his brothers, Michael and Joseph. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (501 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clement Church (172 Freneau Ave, Matawan, NJ 07747). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Marlboro Memorial Cemetery (361 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751).
