He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Faughnan and Joan Faughnan; his grandparents, Helen Finnerty and Frederick Finnerty; his sister Eileen "Mickey" McGurk; his uncle Charles Finnerty; his father-in-law Michael Norris Sr.; his grandparents, Olive Bryant and Noble Bryant; and his brother-in-law Michael Norris Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Christine Faughnan; his mother-in-law Sue Norris; his sister Deborah Bibber; his nieces and nephews, Sean McGurk (Evelyn), Erin Henderson (Jim), Bernadette Bibber, Christopher Bibber (Sarah), Alex Bibber and Kevin Bibber; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Hailey, Riley, Charleigh, Delaney, McKenna, Raelynn, Donovan and Declan. He is also survived by his family, especially his wife, sister, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church — Parish of St. Teresa of Calcutta Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ (424 Lincoln Ave, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ 07717). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
