It is with sadness that the passing of Gertrude Halpin of Howell, New Jersey is shared. Gertrude passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Phil; and her siblings, Harold Thompson, Margaret Nocera and Dorothy Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen O'Neill (Eugene), Kevin Halpin (Mary), Barbara Contegiacomo (Steve), Robin Dronne (Todd) and Kerry Halpin; her grandchildren, Jeff O'Neill (Javier), Bryan Halpin (Angela), Steven Contegiacomo (Hayley), Tara Amidon (Matt), Meghan Mardikos (Jimmy), Devon Dronne, Dylan Dronne, Andrew Beckwith and Luke Beckwith; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Brendan, Hendrix, Lennox and Jack. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728).
