He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Smith; his sister Barbara Meixell; his daughters, Faith Cooke (Bill) of Iselin, NJ and Noel Willard of Ocklawha, FL; his grandsons, Robert Thornton (Alys) of Jackson, NJ and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Thornton, Damian Rodriguez, Nivayah Rivet, Ajani and Aelia Campbell.
