He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cosgrove and Bernice Cosgrove; and his mother-in-law Helene Varga. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cosgrove; his sisters, Theresa Cosgrove, Mary Brooks (Timothy), Kathleen Street and Colleen Melillo (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Matthew Brooks (Amerika), Zachary Brooks, Jennifer Brooks, Paul Melillo Jr., Tyler Street, Nicholas Street, Megan Varga-Farnham and Rachel Varga-Farnham; his father-in-law Richard Varga (Betty Babiarz); his brother-in-law Christopher Varga (Gregory Farnham); and his aunt Jeannie Cosgrove. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Gertrude's Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
