She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Morin and Madeleine Morin; and her children, Rachel Plourde, Rene Plourde, Roger Plourde and Thomas Gaven, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Gaven; and her children, Lise Plourde, Nicole Plourde, Janine Goldman, Michael Plourde (Denise), Edward Gaven (Janet), Anne Marie Hughes (Joseph) and Robert Gaven. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; and by her 9 great grandchildren.
