He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sweeney; his children, Katherine Sweeney of Basking Ridge, NJ, Ted Sweeney (Stephanie Hendershot) of Ada, MI and Eileen Sweeney (Kenneth Dawe) of Barnegat, NJ; and his granddaughters, Charlotte, Violet and Stella Sweeney.
