It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan S. DeGrushe of Jackson Township, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Codraro and Erena Codraro; her husband George; and her sister Anne Papaleo. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Young (Jay), Joan George (Eric) and Barbara Cirnigliaro (Salvatore). She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
