He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnstone and Margaret Johnstone; his wife Joan Johnstone; and his siblings, James, Margaret, Kenneth John, Mary Ellen Lane and Isabel Marchitto.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Britt (Michael), Dawn Marlow (Richard) and James Johnstone (Lauren); his grandchildren, Corey, Kevin, Jakob, McKenna, Emily and Addison; and his sister Elizabeth Domasica (Steven). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
