He is survived by: his wife Ellen Gallagher; his children, Karen Kennedy (Jay), Patrick Gallagher (Mariette) and Diane Smocovich (Frank); and his grandchildren, Ciara Smocovich, Connor Gallagher, Brendan Gallagher, Emma Smocovich and Maryellen Kennedy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home (980 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson Township, NJ 08527). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church (935 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson Township, NJ 08527). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
