He was predeceased by: his brother George Hemp. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hemp; his sister-in-law Jean Dorflinger; and his children, William Ernest Hemp of Howell Twp, John Edward Hemp of Wilson, NC and Sheryl Ann Bergman of Oakhurst, NJ. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; and by his 7 great-grandchildren.
