We bid farewell to Barbara Rapoza of Jackson, New Jersey, born in Eufaula, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Alfred C. Rapoza; her husband Howard "Jack" Kane; and her brother Stanley Zabawa. She is survived by: her son Joseph (Sandy) of Englishtown, NJ; her grandchildren, Jessica, Heather and Tommy; her daughter Janice (Eddie) of Jackson, NJ; her grandchildren, Nikki, Shelly and Eddie; her daughter Judy (Chris) of Englishtown, NJ; her grandchildren, Christina, Kirsten and Shannon; her son Jim (Bridgette) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her granddaughters, Sophia and Sonia; her daughters, Jennifer of Lauderdale and Jeanine (Dave) of Freehold, NJ; her grandchildren, Marco, Vincent, Ava and Audrey; and her brother John Zabawa of Gettysburg, PA.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation to honor her and the struggle against kidney disease.
