With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Ruess of Jackson, New Jersey, born in Red Bank, New Jersey, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Ruess to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Arbon Hughes and Leonard Ruess; and her children, Gail Scanlon and Gary Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Greg Hughes (Ellyn), Gwen Hughes, Kathryn Hughes, Linda Harvey (Neal) and Christine Ruess (Mark Mihaly); and her daughter-in-law Donna Hughes. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
